Who I am? Overthinking this question is pretty much acceptable, just because I am in the road of pursuing who I think I want to be and finding out whom I am becoming. I could describe myself as straightforward, sincere, outspoken, determined, liberal and passionate person. I consider myself as a self-confident woman in the quest for happiness. What is happiness? Good question and a whole life ahead to find out or to be found, whatever comes first. Up until now I have been able to embrace every negative situation in my life and turned it into a positive outcome. The road is filled with ups and downs that I am anxious to discover and go through. Furthermore, overcoming every obstacle in my journey is not only a natural instinct, is just is a way of living because one way or the other I am a lesson learner. Learning from the experiences that I have been through has not been my strongest field, but I have been able to pick up all the broken pieces and make a new “unfinished” puzzle. Although I am missing some puzzle pieces, I am discovering my inner self, meeting extraordinary people and facing unpredictable life experiences that are building who I am and who I am going to be. For now I am only a twenty two years old woman and a fourth year undergraduate student majoring in chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. I am just taking one step at a time receiving, accepting and cherishing with my arms wide open every moment in my life. I am in a constant transformation, mentally, emotionally and physically, that is why written words are the best way to make every second of my life permanent until eternity. The rest still unwritten!
"We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us."
Joseph Campbell
